Preliminary study plan for exchange students
A preliminary study plan is a required part of your exchange application to Tampere University. It serves as a guideline only at this stage. The autumn semester curriculum for the next academic year is usually published in summer. The spring semester curriculum is typically released in late autumn. You may need to base your plan on the previous year’s curriculum. Your study field at Tampere University should reflect your academic background from your home university.
Important: Approval of your preliminary study plan during the application process does not guarantee admission to any courses. You must register for courses in the Sisu after activating your TUNI account and completing your registration with the university.
The preliminary study plan included in your exchange application is not the official Erasmus+ Learning Agreement (LA). The LA is typically completed later, after your course selections have been confirmed. It does not need to match your preliminary study plan exactly, as course availability and your final choices may change. More details about the digital Learning Agreement (DLA) process are provided below.
