Registration with the university for exchange students

Your identification and registration with Tampere University will take place online and before your arrival and the Welcome Week. This is a mandatory step for all exchange students, regardless of their arrival date. The purpose of this process is to verify your identity before sending you the personal activation instructions. 

Important: You can only start the identification process after you have been invited to do so by email. Failure to complete the identification and registration process will result in being unable to start your exchange studies at Tampere University. Please read carefully the instructions you will receive from the International Mobility Services in mid-June (for the autumn semester) and in mid-November (for the spring semester).

The registration process for spring 2026 must be completed between 15 - 30 November 2025.
