You will meet with everyone in your study group and get to know each other, talk to the key people in building your future: your student tutors and teacher tutors, other lecturers, the head of your programme, your study counsellor, TAMK social counsellor, student union members and many more. You will also get to know various TAMK/TUNI electronic services which you need e.g. for enrolling on the courses, and you will see and hear about our facilities and services.

Bachelor's Degree Programme in Environmental Engineering and Green Transition

If you have prior studies at higher education level and wish to transfer credits, contact your Student Counsellor and make an appointment in advance to avoid the rush during the orientation days.

For credit transfer, you need:

  • your own suggestion of the courses from TAMK curriculum that you wish to get accredited for
  • official transcript of records
  • description of the content of the courses (links to the original curriculum on the university website or equivalent)
  • number of credits for each course. If your transcript doesn’t have the number of ECTS credits for each course, you need to include a link to an explanation of the credit system of that university/country and an estimate of the number of ECTS credits of each course.

Please note that for a lot of subjects, a demonstration of competence (e.g. taking an exam) is needed in order to get credits transferred.
