Sisu instructions for Open University students
Sisu is the student information system that you will use to manage your studies at the Open University. You will be able to access Sisu after you have been admitted to the Open University, paid the required fees and activated your University-provided username and email address.
Note! Our registration process has been renewed, and as a result, students will no longer need to create a personal study plan (PSP) and register for teaching themselves (except in special cases, in which we will provide separate instructions). So, if you have previously studied with us at the Open University, the process has now been simplified: you register directly for the study modules, and there is no need to do this separately in Sisu (unless you receive specific instructions to do so).
Sisu enables you to
- Check and update your personal information (e.g., contact details and student number)
- Check your study rights
- Review your completed studies and download an electronically verified transcript of records
- Define how your information may or may not be shared, for example, for study-related marketing purposes
- You can register for the retake exam
