Break exercise instructions and tips

Take a break - it makes you feel good!

Boost Break

SportUni organizes a break exercise open to the entire Tuni community on Monday afternoons from 14:00 to 14:15. Add BoostBreak to your calendar! You will get tips on how to do your own break exercises too.

Higher education on the move -site

Finnish Student Sports Federation has collected tips on how to include brakes to ones workday aka how to drive "Achy" away

Activation spots in campuses

You will find equipment that encourages you to take breaks and be active in everyday life, i.e. activation spots, in all campuses. The equipment is freely available to both students and staff. You can find more information about the equipment and locations of the activation spots on the SportUni website.

Equipment available for borrowing to your workstation

From SportUni’s sports centres, you can borrow equipment to try out tools that support changing your working posture and adding movement during the workday. Borrowing is free of charge for all members of the TUNI community, and the loan period is about one week. Available items include Gymba boards, balance cushions and exercise balls. Contact the customer service of the centre of your choice (Hervanta, Kauppi, City Centre) to arrange the loan.
