Virtual exchanges
Virtual exchange refers to participation in an international online course offered by one of TAMK’s partner universities, or in other learning activities conducted entirely online. It is an excellent way to gain international experience if you are currently to participate in a traditional student exchange.
You will earn credits from a virtual exchange, and these credits should be included in your TAMK degree. Therefore, it is important to discuss virtual exchange and how it fits into your studies with your degree programme before starting the course.
Each year, virtual exchange courses are available to TAMK students through The Hague Network. The Hague Network is a consortium of seven European higher education institutions. One of their objectives is to offer joint study opportunities to students of the partner universities.

Recognition of virtual exchange credits
Courses completed through virtual exchange are recognized in the same way as other courses completed during an exchange period. Once you have received an official transcript of records from the institution that offered the virtual exchange course, please contact the international coordinator of your degree programme regarding the credit transfer process.
