Preliminary study plan for exchange students
Your preliminary study plan (Online Learning Agreement/Learning Agreement for Erasmus+ exchange students) will be approved at the application stage. TAMK primarily uses the Online Learning Agreement (OLA). If your home university does not use OLA, we are also able to sign Learning Agreement (LA) on paper/pdf. document.
However, having your OLA/LA approved by TAMK does not automatically guarantee admission to all courses due to the limited number of places available on some courses. You can modify your study plan / learning agreement after you arrive. You will be able to enrol on courses during the Welcome Week.
Erasmus+ students, please check the Learning Agreement guidelines. Our Erasmus+ code is SF TAMPERE06.
Please confirm with your home university whether they require you to complete a certain number of credits during your exchange study period. We expect students to complete at least 5 ECTS credits / month.
Cross-institutional studies
As TAMK exchange student, you are eligible to take some courses from other universities in Tampere via Cross-institutional studies. However, at least 60% of credits taken during your exchange should be TAMK courses. These courses should be included in your study plan. Please note that there is a separate application to cross-institutional studies courses and approval of your study plan does not guarantee admission to courses. After completion, cross-institutional studies courses are listed on a separate transcript.
Check the suitability of a cross-institutional course for your degree at your home institution before applying for cross-institutional studies!
