Goin' application for international students and tutors
From the academic year 2023-24, international students at Tampere University have used the Goin’ application to get to know their fellow students already before starting their studies in Finland.
Goin’ is a mobile application which facilitates community building from day one for all international study offer holders and their tutors. It’s a platform that enables you to talk to your future fellow students already before accepting your study place. You can form connections, create interest groups, get tips and hints from other students and build your network already before even coming to Tampere. Meet new friends virtually and feel at home when you arrive! Later, you can act as the experienced student and help other newcomers settling in Tampere if you want to.
All international degree programme students, exchange students and international student tutors will receive an invitation to the application. For new degree students, the link for registering is in the acceptance email. Please note that the Goin' community depends on the students own activity and the University itself does not take responsibility for all the information shared on the app. If you are unsure about anything, please check the Student's Guide or other official University materials for information. Nevertheless, we warmly encourage everyone to join the discussions in Goin'!
The use of the application is voluntary and you can decide whether you want to create an account or not in the app.
