Sisu instructions for exchange students
Please note that an online Sisu info session was organised for exchange students on 31 July 2026, you can find the recording in the pre-arrival videos on Welcome Week for exchange students. You can fully access Sisu registrations only starting from 1 August 2026.
Sisu is the student information system you will use to manage your studies at Tampere University, including course registrations. You will gain access to Sisu after you have been officially admitted and activated your university-provided TUNI account. Once logged in, Sisu allows you to:
- View and update your contact details in Finland
- Find your Tampere University student number
- Access your Finnish Learner ID
- Check your study right and the field of study you have been admitted to
- Create and manage your Personal Study Plan (PSP)
- Register for teaching, including courses and exams
- View your academic records, download a digitally signed transcript of records
After your course registrations in Sisu, you can view your weekly course schedule in Sisu's study calendar and on the intranet. Please note that the Personal Study Plan in Sisu is a distinct list of courses. It is not the same as the Erasmus+ Learning Agreement or the preliminary study plan.
