Practicalities for student ambassadors

Compensation

Unibuddy ambassadors get a compensation of 50€ per semester. This requires active participation.

Student Ambassadors get a compensation of 30-60€ per activity in TAMK's social media platforms (solo content). You can also create content with your fellow Student Ambassadors in which case the compensation is slightly smaller per person. Detailed compensation chart is introduced in the Student Ambassador trainings.

Other events and activities are paid a set sum. For example, a basic compensation for attending a virtual event is 40€ and a full day's event is 100€. More information on the compensation model will be given in the trainings.

The compensation is paid to your Finnish bank account. You need to have a personal banking ID or Mobile ID for strong authentication. All payments are taxable income which means that you need a Finnish tax card to receive the payments. 

Administration

We use Moodle to coordinate and communicate Student Ambassador activities. You will receive the Moodle key in the first training. In Moodle you find all training material and the gigs available as well as more detailed information on the compensation.
