BIP destinations

Would you be interested in going for a BIP exchange, but don’t know how to find a suitable BIP? On this page we have collected information on different ways of finding a BIP that would be a good addition to your studies.

BIPs are organised year-round and all have their own application periods. There are different ways to find a suitable BIP exchange:

• Participation in BIPs is often teacher-led: a TAMK teacher is part of organising a BIP with a partner institution or has found an interesting BIP where students can apply. You can get information of these from your teachers.
• TAMK may also receive information on a BIP organised by a partner institution. The BIPs organised by UNINOVIS partner institutions and other partner institutions are listed on this page.
• Third option is to find a BIP independently. In this case, contact your degree programme’s international coordinator to find out if the BIP course can be included into your degree.

BIPs organised by UNINOVIS partner institutions

TAMK is a part of a European University Alliance UNINOVIS. The Uninovis partner institutions organise several BIPs yearly. UNINOVIS BIPs are collected in the list below, the list is updated regularly, when we get information on new BIPs.

Each UNINOVIS BIP has their own application period, mentioned in the list below. Some BIPs are open to students from several fields of study, some have a more limited scope. The way of applying to the BIP also varies, so please check the information carefully for each BIP.

UNINOVIS Innovation Challenge Camp for Developing a Green Island, 2.–6.11.2026

• Fields of study: Open for students from all fields of study who are interested in building green spaces and sustainability

• BIP description: During this Innovation Challenge Camp, students will be matched in international and multidisciplinary teams to solve a problem – how to develop a Green Island in an underutilized space on USPN’s campus. The USPN Greenhouse project aims to create a participatory space of 200 to 300 square meters at our Villetaneuse campus to raise awareness among university staff and students about eco-friendly practices, sustainable agriculture, and healthy eating. This greenhouse and its annexes will enable the propagation of fruit trees, berries, annual and perennial vegetable plants, and will also supply staff and users with these plants for use outside the university. The greenhouse will also provide tree seedlings for greening our campuses and creating natural cooling zones, which are useful during heat waves. Regular workshops will be offered to university staff and users on topics such as gardening, healthy eating, water management, and more. This Green Island will thus serve as an educational, ecological, and social space, allowing students and staff to participate in the production of trees and plants while learning sustainable gardening techniques.
