Documents submitted electronically are sent by encrypted email, paper documents by regular mail.

Note:

  • As a rule, the delivery time for documents is no more than 2 weeks. The delivery time for verification requests is about 4 weeks, but longer during holidays.

  • TAMK does not translate ordered documents into other languages

  • TAMK does not certify the customer's own copies of documents or originals. In such cases, the customer must turn to a notary public working at the Local Register Office.

TAMK stores:

  • all PIRAMK documents (1997–2009)

  • TAMK's documents from 2010 onwards

  • The Vocational Teacher Education (formerly Vocational Teacher Education TAOKK) documents from 2010 onwards

The documents of TAMK, TAOKK and TTVO created before 2010 are stored in the Tampere City Archives. The website of the Tampere City Archives has an e-form that can be used to make copies of the archive if you need your old certificates.

The National Archives of Finland contains documents from the Tampere Technical College (TEKU) (1886–1996) and the Tampere Institute of Health Care (1956–1996).

Transcripts of records

If you need a transcript of records, the first thing to check is the free Koski service on Studyinfo, which includes both study rights and study attainments. Here is a link to the login page of the My Studyinfo service. The use of the service requires identification with Finnish online banking credentials, a Finnish electronic ID-card or mobile certificate.

In the My Studyinfo service, study attainments and study rights are collected in one service. You can share your own data from the My Studyinfo service with the authorities that need it in their operations, such as education providers, municipalities, Kela, employment authorities or employers. Higher education attainments and study rights are mainly visible from 1995 onwards.

TAMK's students can print out the transcript of records on Pakki student desktop. You can get an electronically certified transcript at Orders. You can order the paper version free of charge using the order form that can be found in the Student's Guide on the Student forms and documents page.
