Structure of data matrix, types of variables
Descriptive statistics: frequency distributions, measures of central tendency and variation
Measures of association: correlation, crosstabulation, group means/medians
Introduction to statistical inference: testing and confidence intervals
Ideas of sample size calculations
Use of SPSS statistical program
