Upon completion of a Licentiate degree, you will

- have an in-depth understanding of your field of research and its significance

- be familiar with the development, fundamental questions and research methods in your own field of research.

- possess specialist knowledge and skills that will enable you to pursue a challenging professional career or continue your studies towards a doctorate

Content description

A licentiate degree may be completed as part of the doctoral degree programme as an intermediate step towards the doctoral degree in a special case. A licentiate degree includes licentiate thesis and the coursework (40 credits) required for a doctoral degree.
