Master's Thesis Seminar, 5 cr (C1)

The seminar introduces the process and structure of the master’s thesis. During the seminar, students prepare a research plan for their thesis and present the progress of their thesis work. They also critically read and comment the work of other students.

• Purpose and format of the thesis

• Ethical questions related to scientific writing, e.g. plagiarism issues

• General format, contents and process of writing a research plan

• Presentation of the research plan, discussion and feedback

• Presentation of one’s own thesis work

• Reading and critically commenting seminar papers written by other students
