Finnish Society and Culture, 5 cr

The module serves as a basic introduction to the society and culture of contemporary Finland. The module is organized around different thematic lectures and related readings and tasks. The lectures are given by experts in the fields of e.g. Finnish History, Welfare State, Foreign Policy, Information Society, Technology, Innovations, Literature, Culture, Music, Art, Design, Environmental issues, Forestry, Business and business branches especially in the Tampere region.
