Common learning outcomes
International outlook and global responsibility

To complete the course the student actively participates in project work. The course is conducted in collaboration with Demola Global (a global foresight agency). Demola co-creation experts work together with the selected student teams to create alternative future visions and insights. Projects are done in 4–6-member interdisciplinary global teams that work for 8 weeks (mainly) online. Demola runs hundreds of projects annually and the project platform enables cumulative knowledge building ensuring that teams will not start from an empty table but will utilize the data and insights the previous teams have created, and that Demola community already has.

Course work includes both asynchronous and synchronous hours.

Asynchronous hours are done at own pace and include background research, planning and personal tasks. Synchronous hours include team meetings (times can be agreed with teammates) and community events.

Join the Demola project if

- you have curiosity to understand and find out

- you have optimism, believing that different possibilities exist but might not yet have been
  discovered

- you have perseverance, not giving up when facing a dead end and forced to return to the     drawing table.

- you have empathy, the ability to set aside your own assumptions and genuinely engage with
   others.
