Arranging scientific conferences includes various assistive tasks, such as preparing the facilities and materials, and guiding and helping the participants.

Applications for assistantships are separately called for each conference. Students may also earn a completed study unit for a conference that is not organised by their own the faculty.

Student assistants must prepare a two-page report describing the activities and reflecting on the competence they have gained. The report must also include the name, date, and contact person of the conference.
