Returning to study after a break
Did you drop out of your degree studies at TAMK? You have different routes to complete your degree. The most suitable route depends on how many credits you are missing and when you started your studies at TAMK.
N.B.! The routes described on this page do not apply to students who have simply forgotten to enrol or who can still get extension time for their studies.

Apply for reinstatement of your study right
If you have started your studies at TAMK on 1 August 2015 or later, you may apply for the reinstatement of your study right.
Laws governing tuition fees and exemptions have changed 1 December 2024. Please note that if you apply for reinstatement, your immigration status will be re-examined, and your previous status as paying or non-paying is subject to change.

Complete the missing studies at the Open University of Applied Sciences (Open UAS)
Are you more than 60 credits short of a Bachelor's degree or more than 30 credits short of a Master's degree? Did your study right at TAMK start before 1 August 2015? If either is true for you, the studies in Open UAS are your only option for completing your degree, unless you want to go through entrance exams again.
Completing the degree in Open UAS is not possible for students who are liable to pay tuition fees. Please note that TAMK will check your immigration status from Migri to make sure that your tuition fee liability is not being avoided by using this route.
