Certificates and confirmations for exchange students
To confirm the length of your exchange study period, many home universities ask for a document such as a certificate of attendance, confirmation of stay, letter of confirmation, or a similar form. These documents confirm your exchange dates and are typically validated by the host institution (Tampere University) with an authorised signature.
Please note: Tampere University uses an automatically generated certificate for Erasmus+ exchange students. An arrival certificate is issued by email during Welcome Week, and a corresponding final certificate is issued at the end of the exchange period.
If you are not an Erasmus+ exchange student (for example, Nordplus), you will not receive the automatic Erasmus+ certificate and should instead submit your home university’s form for signing.
