Exchange student’s health services, well-being and safety
All exchange students are encouraged to have a proper international health insurance already before arrival, as it protects you from unexpected, high medical costs in case you have a serious accident or sickness and gives you fast access to a private doctor, if you need one.
Important: Exchange students are not covered by FSHS (Finnish Student Health Service). FSHS serves only degree students in Finland.
